The Steadicam ProVid is lightweight, affordable,
and professional quality Steadicam. An ultra-light
monocoque carbon fiber housing allows the Steadicam
ProVid skin the ability to absorb all or most of the stresses to

Steadicam
ProVid is ideal for broadcasting, independent tele-production
studios and newer digital lighter weight cameras in the 9 to 19
pound range. This streamlined version of our famous ProVid is actually
lighter yet stronger due to a new carbon fiber construction. The
unit’s weight of 20 pounds allows the entire ProVid 2 system to
fit neatly into the trunk of a car. It’s modular construction allows
you to upgrade your system as you grow.

Steadicam ProVid 2+
The Steadicam ProVid 2 offers all of the same features
for cameras from 10-22 lbs. A Steadicam telescoping carbon fiber
center post replaces the standard fixed length. The Steadicam
telescoping feature allows for fine-tuning the system's dynamic
balance. Dynamic balance modifies the distribution of mass so that
the center of mass is about the principal axis of rotation. At this
location the resultant inertia forces of the rotating system is
zero. Since an unbalanced inertial force increases as the square
of the speed, spinning the shaft magnifies the amount of imbalance
to a measurable level.

The Steadicam Mini was built with today's ENG cameras
in mind and produces the same fluid motion and dynamic action as
the larger systems. Metal and composite material construction allow
for a light yet strong system. The Steadicam Mini
is designed for video camcorders weighing from 5-15 pounds. The
Steadicam Mini gives the precision and smoothness
of larger systems for hand-held camcorders. The Steadicam
Mini Quick Release plate allows easy, quick camera mounting and
removal. The Steadicam Mini articulated arm allows
the user to quickly frame and follow the action. A comfortable Steadicam
